Mentorendienst Osteuropa and Jaunjelgava
Mentorendienst Osteuropa (MDOE) ministry in Latvia began in 1999, when Bible School was organized for the first time. So tradition was started to organize the Bible school in Jaunjelgava every year in August. Together with MDOE we participate in the project "European pensioner helps another European pensioner". Latvian representatives also participate each year in MDOE’s conference in Hungary, where they report on achievements and plan next year's activities. About MDOE The vision of Mentorendienst Osteuropa (MDOE) is to develop and disciple committed Christians in Central and Eastern Europe, equipping them with the qualities that are necessary for mature ministry and leadership. They in turn will be able to bring about effective, positive and permanent change in the lives of their families, friends, co-workers, communities and nations. The Mentoring Service is a non-profit organization. As understood in the Bible, all co-workers want to use their gifts for the Lord in order to help the christian workers in eastern Europe. MDOE organizes conferences, seminars, conventions and vacation Bible schools. Aslo for an efficient mentoring, we permanently keep in touch with them through visits, counseling and help. Relationships are a big part of MDOE ministry. Goal – Mentoring Service East Europe is a ministry that helps the ministers in Eastern Europe on the following fields:
